IBPS Clerk 2016 Notification and Important Dates

Institute of banking personnel selection has release the notification for clerk 2016 posts. You can start filling the application in few days. You should start your preparation for clerk post if you want to get job in a good bank. As you may already be knowing that there will no interviews this year and that’s why written exams matter more. A higher score will make sure that you get placed in a good bank of your choice. Rest of the process of IBPS clerk 2016 are same. The final results of IBPS clerk 2016 will be declared on 1st April 2017.








Below are important details of IBPS clerk 2016 exam that you need to know. 

Age Limit: The age limit is between 20 years to 28 years for general students. Age relaxation will be provided to other categories as per govt rules and regulations.

Education: You must be graduate from a recognized university to take part in this exam.

Application fee: INR 600 for general and RS 100 for others.

Prelims Exam: IBPS will conduct prelims exam for clerk posts just like last time. Below is the pattern given for the IBPS clerk 2016.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam: If you clear the prelims exam then you will become qualified for the mains exam. Below is the pattern given for the mains exam which also consists of GK which is not there in the prelims exam.

You will be allotted bank according to the qualified marks obtained by you in the mains exam. There will be no interviews. However you need to know that cut off marks will go high this time because of 2 reasons. Vacancies are less and no interviews are 2 big reasons. You should prepare really hard to score 150+ marks to atleast have a chance to get selected in bank of your choice. Less preparation won’t take you far this time in IBPS Clerk 2016.

Results are always declared on 1st April every year by IBPS so you can expect the result to be declared on the same date this time also.  Get ready to fill up the application from 22nd of August and start your preparation right away. You have more than 3 months which are enough to crack clerk 2016 exam. It will be a bit tough this time but still you can crack with hard work. You should work in your weak areas to score more. You can also expect to see some changes in pattern this time just like SBI did it with SBI clerk exams. We have to see it for IBPS Clerk 2016 exam.
